I call this blog "sponsored by serendipity" because that's what I say about my life--I don't make plans; serendipity makes them for me. you'll also often see me refer to my life as a sitcom, in reference to the fact that, while everything always works out in the end, sometimes it's in the most absurd ways possible. so, I've resigned myself to the shenanigans--at least, they make for good stories.

besides, some things only make sense if I imagine they were written for the amusement of an imaginary studio audience.

this site is both my journal and portfolio, rolled into one, but only the journal is pay-walled.

I realized I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to only post full + formal newsletters to here, but the point of this site is to transition all of my content entirely away from Meta-owned platforms, so I need to get used to posting as casually + frequently here as I normally would there.

this means that you won't be getting email notifications about every single post I make--that would be insane--but, I'll send periodic digests for the highlights.
