I turned an IG hashtag into a dinner party and event series, because I eat my feelings the way I do everything else: with flair.

I needed to ring in the new decade with something more epic than drinks and a DJ so, in one month of independent planning, I threw the party I wanted to go to. I led the production, creative direction, and marketing--down to writing every word of the copy and being a total nerd about paper stock for printing. Kenzi designed the flyers and invitations, and built the 7ft tall moon (a staple of vintage roaring 20s parties.)
we sold out to 200 guests, with a waitlist and national attendees, before any other venue in town.
I knew everyone was going to throw Roaring 20s-themed parties for 2020.
this was the one worth being in town for.
